I love speaking to groups about the history of which I’ve written, and I regularly make presentations to all sorts of groups in all variety of venues, from 10 to 1,000 – so far. For non-profit groups in the Kansas City area, there is generally no charge, except for an occasional nominal cost for out-of-metro travel. From my for-profit clients, I appreciate a modest honorarium. Each presentation is customized for the group – by topic, by length, by audience and by content.
